
We continue to explore Georgia and this time we are heading to Omalo Village.

Kvetera Church is a Georgian Orthodox church located in a historic fortified town of Kvetera in Kakheti. It was built in the early part of the 10th century. It is a relatively small church and resembles the Georgian cross-dome style of architecture.


Alaverdi Monastery is a Georgian Orthodox monastery located 25 km from Akhmeta, in the Kakheti Кegion of Eastern Georgia. It is the largest monastery in the country. Parts of the monastery date back to 6th century. The present day cathedral dates to the 11th century.

It has a dress code. Fortunately, long skirts for you to put on hang right at the entrance.

Tusheti is a historic region in northeast Georgia full of softwood forests.

Omalo. It is a popular tourist center with a lot of guesthouses and a helipad.
