Africa, one of the great and exclusive continents on the globe. There are several countries in this continent and more a thousand languages is speaking by the people. You can find a mixture of the cultures around the Africa.


If you are trying visit Africa, there is one thing is great that you will find a racial lifestyle for every ten miles distance. These distances had never created any walls between these people. They are always marinating the relationship with others since civilization times. There are many civilizations in the history of the world; however, you can find a fast development in African civilization. Due to Western Europe and North America civilizations are taken place in just few short decades in Africa.

In African civilization, we can see people moving so quickly from tribal societies to modern nations. This could be happened in African civilizations only; you never find this type rapid growth rate in any civilization around the world. Every African person around the continent has a goal of independence and nationalism; these factors are made the process of removing the barriers between the tribal groups. The adaptation of the Western culture has made this African tradition so weak.

With this adaptation, the entire African continent culture has been changed one of them is tradition art. It has been becoming a thing of the past, with disappearance of the traditional art; the original African art is limited. In Africa today, the art of previous generations was produced to meet religious and social needs that no longer exist within most groups today.

Revealing the importance behind some of Africa’s the most beautiful art and culture are four common themes. These themes represent ceremonial honor, mother earth and the people as her children, honor, and portrayal of a stranger. The four themes are described below. The artists in the African art are also adopting the concepts from new world views. The art which we are seeing in Africa is reflecting the contemporary art values and their culture.
