But this boundary, in principle, can be called normal. There are more interesting border between the countries. Some are interesting because of its geographical location, the other - because of the way of protection, and others … But we will not discuss all this in advance, let’s see what we’ve got interesting today.

Baarle-Nassau/Baarle-Hertog

This is the boundary that separates the Netherlands and Belgium. On one side is the municipality Baarle-Nassau, it’s the Netherlands, on the other - the municipality Baarle-Hertog - this is Belgium.This boundary is rather complicated, because the place is often in homes, cafes and other buildings. Thus, two drinking companion who drink in the cafe, may be in different countries. It is clear that this boundary is practically not protected, and it is difficult to be residents of both municipalities.

It turns out that this is the highest border in the world. But there is hardly a smuggler, or just the offender, who wants to overcome the border at this location.

This city is located in both the U.S. and Canada. The border between two countries is just around the city, through houses and other buildings. For example, some families bake cookies in one country and eat it - in another. The border here prohiodt to the city library and opera house. It turns out that the part of the building with a stage is located in Canada, but most of the seats and the entrance are in the U.S..Because of the terrorist acts that often occur in the U.S., the city began to really try to guard the border. Cooch-Behar

This boundary is in many aspects similar to the first dividing line in our list. There, the border runs between Belgium and the Netherlands. Here - between Bangladesh and India. The most interesting thing - the border is not very straight, because of the tangle regions of Bangladesh, which are surrounded by Indian territory, and vice versa.

Tumen River (Tumen)

This river is located in North-East Asia. Generally speaking, this is the natural border between Russia and North Korea. However, there is also the border with China. Thus, you can start the way in North Korea, go a mile and get into China, then go a little further and get to Russia. Although, of course, it’s not a good idea - most likely, you are held back in North Korea. The border is very actively patrolled by North Korean soldiers.
